Summary

"From the Guardian Angel" This is Kyat, the mascot of the Hollywood Tokyo theater (the horned owl, basically). I've been looking over the theater and seeing off generations of idols ever since the first president of the theater brought me back from the woods, healed my wounds, and took me in. However, this new generation of Shounen Hollywood seems to be a bit different. They have a lot in common with the first generation Shounen Hollywood--although comparisons could hardly be made, since they're still a bunch of newbies--and I am looking forward to what they'll turn out to be. This new generation Shounen Hollywood just finished a show and this all reminded me of the glorious days of the past. The first generation Shounen Hollywood were bright as stars. Their fans also adored them with great warmth and brilliance that the members of the first generation Shounen Hollywood started calling them "Orange." The moments when they were on stage with the fans, seem timeless. The first generation President passed away soon after he healed me and took me in, and members of Shounen Hollywood were discussing the future of the theater and the future of themselves. "Being an idol is not a life long career," they concluded. They decided to give the first generation Shounen Hollywood the perfect ending and move on towards each one of their own dreams. A year after the President passed away, the first generation Shounen Hollywood had their last performance and broke up. But breaking up is not the end. They will always be there for one another and one day they will come back together. One of the members, Tsuyoto Hiiragi, made a resolution to himself, that one day, he will bring the glory of Shounen Hollywood back on stage (now we know that the current President is Tsuyoto Hiiragi). After the break-up, the devoted and persevering Tessy (the theater manager) took full charge of the theater. He recruited idols and arranged performances, but none of them shed tears when leaving the theater. One day, Godo (Tsuyoto Hiiragi) came back to the theater and that's when everything started again. Godo became President and recruited young teen boys with different dreams and hopes to the Hollywood Tokyo theater. Maki was recruited one day when he saw me resting in front of the theater and was wondering whether I'm a cat or and owl (so rude!); Shun came in hope of performing for an international audience and making his own (rock) music; Kakeru just wanted to lead a normal life but was persuaded by the President; Mii is a big fan of the first generation Shounen Hollywood and wants to follow their footsteps; Kira was a child star and is determined to enter the entertainment industry. While they are all in different places in life, they are here together, right now , in the Hollywood Tokyo theater, to be part of the returning glory of Shounen Hollywood. The President had really hight expectations for this new generation Shounen Hollywood. While they were practicing today, he asked them what kind of idol they want to be and for whom are they doing it? He also wants them to become the "Eternal Idols," who will exist in the audiences' hearts forever. So, what the boys have achieved today is not enough for the President. He needs them to shine more, to glow more, and to grow more. We will see what the future will be~~

Japanese Otaku's Discussion on Ep 15

from Twitter & Other Social Media (translation).
This is an awesome episode~~!!!!!
It's pretty unusual that the President is being so harsh. And it also surprised me that none of them seem to be depressed about it. The President seems to be criticizing the "Commercial Code on Handshaking Vouchers" when he said that shaking hands with audiences is not a proper way to gain more fans.
So this episode's focus is on Kyat ww This is an horned owl with great deliberation~
Although it's probably the best choice for idols to break up at the prime of their career before they start loosing their fame, it's still pretty painful to see the first generation leaving the stage. Since idols are "dreams with limits," how will these freshmen grow and what choices will they make? (will they make the same decisions as their predecessors?) This seems to be one of the themes of the second season Therefore, while I am looking forward to the future episodes, it's kind of scary at the same time.
The President said. "once idols with no skills lose their youth, they are done." This might mean that he's planning on having the freshmen as idols for a long while
This is quite a laugh. The ending theme song and the poem kept their appeal even to the end Kyat has a surprisingly cool character and it's really funny. If you think about it, it's actually a joking mockery Great Guardian Angel~! If he's able to speak human language, Kenshou Ono would be the match to act out his voice
This is the first time I see an horned owl talking in subtitles in an anime ww It's nice to know the background stories of how the freshmen joined the team
The subtitle for the ending theme song is more like a "poem" than "lyrics" what's the ruse?? This is too avant-garde~~
The novel is going to be a hit~ Is the next episode going to be on Shun? We cannot have break.......
While I was fascinated by little Kyat's cuteness, the subtitles hit me kind of hard Parting on a day that's cold enough for snow, the busy and noisy theater became quiet all of a sudden Once you think about how Tessy is feeling, it would really make you cry, he's sacrificing so much It's also great to see how they are able to talk about the break-up of the first generation in such a limited time frame There's definitely a lot that's being bundled into this episode
